Admissions
Our students come from all over Lebanon as well as other countries. Our mission is to constantly reinforce our educational system for human development in relation to globalization and the market needs; it is very important with regard to social integration that our graduates are adequately prepared for professional life.
In that respect, our trends in education have firms and state companies actively participate in the training and in the student’s professional projects.
On the other hand, we put and reinforced partnerships with prestigious Universities in many countries to help us revise and overhaul our academic programs, thus making it easier for exchanging teachers and experts with our partners.
Orientation program at the Université Antonine is of a high priority, as it plays a key role in the future success of the student. The Orientation office at UPA welcome, inducts, and integrates new students into its learning community; provide advice about University procedures, requirements, and academic policies; facilitate the diverse needs of new students; offer students information about specific major to better plan their future; visit schools, and participate in several fairs to present an academic overview whish describes the university and degree requirements.
Applying to Université Antonine
The Office of Admissions processes admission to all University Faculties and Institutes.
Applicants may apply to UPA as regular student; as sophomore or transfer; for the fall semester and the spring semester.
Applications forms are available at the Office of Admissions, or may be downloaded from http://www.upa.edu.lb/en/admissions/applications-to-download.html.
Application forms and the documents must be submitted to the Orientation & Admissions Office.
Admission to Undergraduate Program
To be eligible for undergraduate programs, student (e) must hold the Lebanese Baccalaureate or equivalent as identified by the Lebanese Ministry of Education.
Any student (e) must submit an Exam before enrolling. Following the results obtained, the students confirm their registration by paying the registration fee.
A placement test in French language and / or English is compulsory for any student wishing to enroll in the UPA. (download)
Applicants will be evaluated by the University Admission Council and final acceptance will be based on each applicant’s qualifications and availability of places.
Placement Exams and/or Tests
Three placement exams and/or tests are organized for the fall semester of the academic year in May, July and September.
One placement exam and/or test is organized for the spring semester of the academic year in February.
Admission to graduate Program
Admission to a degree in the graduate program is granted through the Office of Admissions, which receives and processes all applications. Standards under which students are admitted for study in these programs are established and monitoring by the Departments and Faculties concerned. (download)
Transfer from other Universities
This admission is for candidates from other recognized institutions of higher education. The University welcomes applications from students from other universities wishing to study at UPA. It occurs to note that the transfer is not automatic. Transfer requests are reviewed and the student evaluation is done based on their previous studies. Admission criteria may vary considerably from year to year, depending on the demand for the program is the subject. The Admissions Committee will approve transfer cases on an individual basis.
